Marketing Account Manager

Work Location: Remote (US) | HQ Based in: Sarasota, FL Base salary: $70,000–$80,000 + Uncapped performance compensation, with realistic OTE of $100,000–$120,000. About: SpredX is a digital marketing and web development agency helping businesses grow through performance marketing, ecommerce, SEO, website development, and creative strategy. The team partners with ambitious brands to build scalable customer acquisition systems, optimise digital experiences, and deliver measurable business growth. We support 100+ active clients with a team of 8. We're building toward market leadership in digital growth, and we're looking for people who want to help build that with us. The Role: This is a client relationship role. Our sales team closes new clients; you take it from there. You'll own onboarding, run client strategy, manage delivery, and grow accounts over the lifetime of the relationship. You won't prospect or sell - that's not the job. You'll ramp to a book of 50-60 clients over 12 months, backed by our service delivery team and AI tooling. Reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, you'll take full ownership of the client relationships handed to you by sales. We have documented SOPs covering the full account management process, from onboarding through strategy sessions, delivery, and reporting. What You’ll Do: Own client onboarding so every new client feels the upgrade from day one Manage a growing portfolio of clients, ramping to 50-60 over 12 months Run client strategy and deliverables in partnership with our service delivery team Manage client communications, including monthly calls and ongoing check-ins Handle client escalations calmly, with clear solutions that protect the relationship Identify and act on account growth opportunities Collaborate with the delivery team on complex client situations What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of agency-side experience A track record of client retention and account expansion High tolerance for pressure - you'll manage a high volume of client relationships and handle escalations calmly Self-directed - we're a team of 8, so autonomy matters This Role Isn’t For You If: You’re early in your career and haven't managed client relationships before You struggle under pressure or with a high volume of accounts You need significant structure or oversight to stay on track Compensation: Uncapped performance compensation, with realistic OTE of $100,000–$120,000 We pay above-market rates in lieu of a traditional benefits package - more take-home pay, less overhead Remote-first, with Sarasota HQ available for hybrid work #J-18808-Ljbffr
