Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health by utilizing structured interviews and other diagnostic tools, ensuring an accurate understanding of their emotional and psychological needs.

• Formulate personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, clearly outlining therapeutic goals and pathways.

• Offer individual therapy sessions that address a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions, guiding partners towards improved communication, conflict resolution, and relationship strengthening.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, including therapy notes, treatment progress, and follow-ups, in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment strategies based on clients’ progress, adapting to their evolving therapeutic needs.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, advocating for clients when necessary to enhance their treatment experience.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support and resources to clients in acute distress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia.

• Competence in utilizing electronic health record systems for timely documentation and client communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in both child and adolescent therapy as well as adult and couple therapy will be highly favored. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, will also be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
