This remote position is designed to adapt to the needs of today’s mental health professionals, allowing for flexibility while ensuring a positive work-life balance. You will work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telehealth facility empowers you to connect with clients through secured virtual platforms, ensuring that they receive the same level of attention and care as they would in a traditional office setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, employing standardized diagnostic tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients towards sustainable progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies to support their mental health journey.

• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as needed to meet evolving needs and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care strategies that integrate mental health and psychopharmacology.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through ongoing research and training in mood disorder treatment, ensuring the application of the latest evidence-based practices.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans meticulously, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to exchange insights that can enhance patient care and professional development.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders, contributing to de-stigmatization efforts in the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, which include depression, bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.

• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, tailored for mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and medication management teams.
\n
• A proven track record of successful outcomes working with clients facing mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport, trust, and a therapeutic alliance with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
