Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility for our counselors to engage with clients effectively while maintaining a work-life balance. Although your day-to-day tasks will primarily occur remotely, you will occasionally collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team at our outpatient facility to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for our clients. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility based on individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' unique needs, utilizing established screening and evaluative tools.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy tailored to patients' therapy goals.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, providing a valuable platform for patients to communicate shared experiences and learn effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals to provide coordinated care, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

• Respond to crisis situations by offering immediate support and intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety.

• Educate patients on mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community support resources to empower them on their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance the collective knowledge of the team while engaging in ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continually enhance the effectiveness of treatment delivered to clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the state of California.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and devising effective treatment plans that reflect patients' goals and preferences.

• Proficient in providing individual and group therapy services to various populations, showing sensitivity to cultural diversity.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for establishing rapport and trust with patients and their support systems.

• Adherence to professional ethics and standards, alongside sound judgment in practice.

• Competence in the use of electronic health record systems and general computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
