Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Offer individual therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique experiences.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed to promote community support and collective healing.

• Closely collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure coordinated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate, organized electronic health records, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and confidentiality regulations.

• Actively participate in continuing education and training to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay abreast of trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from various backgrounds, helping them to navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in outpatient mental health settings.

• A Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or an equivalent valid license.

• Demonstrated knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing practices, and mental health documentation standards.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to empathize with clients’ experiences and emotions.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, is preferred. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and specific therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), is highly desirable.
