Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a location of your choice, while also maintaining an outpatient office setup in Bakersfield for in-person meetings when required. With a focus on work-life balance, our schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to gauge the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring an understanding of their unique challenges.

• Collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that respect clients' individual requirements, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients toward healing and improvement.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options available, and effective self-care techniques, fostering empowerment in their healing process.

• Regularly monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans to optimize care.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive integrated care for mutual clients.

• Continuously stay informed on the latest research and developments related to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards established in mental health practice.

• Participate in case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our organization primarily serves a diverse clientele experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will be equipped to handle a range of complex cases, working with clients from various backgrounds while employing culturally competent approaches and recognizing the individual factors that influence mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
