As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and document activities using computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, observations, and response activities. Minimum Requirements: Preferred: Comfortable using a computer or tablet. Preferred: Able to lift more than 20 pounds. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
