Key Responsibilities\n

• Evaluate and respond to mental health support referrals from our internal system, ensuring timely and accurate updates to patient records.

• Maintain confidential patient records that comply with applicable practice standards as well as federal and state laws.
\n
• Deliver professional development workshops and outreach initiatives for students, faculty, and staff, focusing on mental health awareness and education.
\n
• Consult with students and staff regarding mental health concerns, providing expert advice on best practices to support those experiencing psychological issues.
\n
• Plan and implement mental health services aimed at enhancing student wellness, supporting academic success, and promoting retention through outreach activities.
\n
• Conduct assessments and counseling sessions with students both individually and in groups addressing a variety of mental health and substance use issues.
\n
• Provide immediate drop-in crisis counseling for students in distress while ensuring thorough crisis intervention and assessment protocols are followed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve students within our healthcare system, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and crisis situations. Our goal is to create a safe space for individuals to express their challenges while providing effective, evidence-based care to facilitate their journey towards mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required; applicants with an associates license will not be considered.

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
