Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to understand their emotional challenges and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions addressing various topics, such as anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship dynamics.

As a mental health counselor at Whispering Winds, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds who are experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license/certification, such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with individuals encountering emotional and psychological difficulties.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly and effectively with clients.

• Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred, although not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in incorporating various therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness practices—are highly desirable.
