Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager at Skywood Recovery Center provides HR strategy and day-to-day support to align business objectives with employees and facility management within designated business units. The role partners with leaders as an HR consultant, upholding local HR policy, progressive discipline steps, and HR compliance while helping ensure adequate staffing. Key Responsibilities Collaborates with management to develop, communicate, and administer human resources policies, guidelines, and procedures in accordance with applicable law and government regulations. Addresses employee relations matters, including employee complaints related to harassment, discrimination, misconduct, bullying, and similar concerns; conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations and provides fact-based recommendations. Manages and resolves employee relations issues, coordinating with appropriate members of the organizational hierarchy during complex situations where needed. Maintains current knowledge of legal requirements for the day-to-day management of employees to reduce legal risk and support regulatory compliance. Keeps employee records current and processes employee status changes in a timely manner. Ensures adherence to departmental record-keeping standards and submits required reports. Leads full-cycle recruitment within assigned facilities to maintain adequate staffing for patient safety and achievement of organizational objectives. Maintains and/or collaborates with facility management on the position control plan in line with the facility FTE budget. Monitors compensation equity across assigned facility or facilities, supports compensation planning, and ensures wage and hour compliance. Maintains Human Resources files to support regulatory compliance, including files for independent contractors and/or vendors. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources. Minimum 3 years of management experience. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred . Healthcare experience and/or experience with co-occurring disorders a plus . PHR or SPHR preferred . Proficiency in Word , Excel , and Power Point .
