Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their homes, creating personalized treatment plans based on their individual needs and recovery goals.
• Implement diverse therapeutic techniques including exercise, stretching, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly document treatment processes, patient responses, and progress, ensuring thorough communication with the healthcare team.
• Continuously assess and refine therapeutic goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Advise on and fit patients for necessary assistive devices to support daily activities and ambulation.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and the correct use of assistive devices.
• Keep up-to-date with best practices in physical therapy through ongoing professional development by attending workshops, participating in societies, and reviewing relevant literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals dealing with various conditions. This could include post-surgical rehabilitation, recovery from strokes, arthritis management, or treatment for sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
