Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for couples and family members.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions for both couples collectively and individuals separately, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health.
\n
• Addressing diverse issues such as alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques in your practice, ensuring that every session is guided by the latest clinical practices.

• Documenting patient progress and outcomes meticulously, while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
\n
• Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss complex cases and share insights that enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including couples and families facing various life challenges. Common issues you will address include:

• Alcohol and substance abuse challenges

• Impact of physical and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief and loss experiences
\n
• Conflicts among family members, including mother/daughter issues
\n
• Adjustments related to separation and divorce

• Challenges specific to blended families and remarriage

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with couples and families.
