Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments with couples and families to identify their unique dynamics and mental health needs.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, while also providing individual therapy as needed to address personal challenges relating to family relationships.

• Applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients facing issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and family conflicts.

• Implementing strategies for blended families and assisting clients in navigating challenges associated with remarriage and divorce.
\n
• Creating tailored treatment plans that incorporate the strengths of each family member, promoting healing and improved communication.
\n
• Educating clients on effective coping mechanisms and communication strategies to enhance relational dynamics.
\n
• Collaborating with other clinicians and healthcare providers to ensure holistic approaches to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including couples seeking to improve their relationships, individuals navigating personal issues, and families facing a variety of dynamics. Your expertise will play a vital role in addressing a wide array of challenges, including but not limited to:

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation.

• Active state license to practice in Florida.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
