Key Responsibilities\n

The core responsibilities of the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor include:

• Providing scheduled updates on appointments, home visits, and observations to ensure continuity and quality of care.

• Coordinating home visits that comply with program requirements, including data collection and analysis.

• Ensuring that the implementation of individualized treatment plans is carried out effectively and aligns with best practices in mental healthcare.

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing insights to enhance collaborative care efforts.

• Documenting progress through thorough monthly and quarterly notes to track client developments and treatment efficacy.

• Organizing and leading training sessions for staff and team members to guarantee competence in program implementation and documentation.

• Providing ongoing follow-ups through interviews, home visits, and client observations to support their ongoing needs.

• Maintaining organized records to ensure data availability for stakeholders and assist with program cohesion.

• Acting as a liaison within the public and mental health community to advocate for and support client goals.

• Assisting in the development of training materials that enhance the efficacy of programs aimed at improving client outcomes.

The LPCC will have the opportunity to work across varied populations, including both adults and youth. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in specialties such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment.

• A robust understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with a specialization in family and couples therapy, as well as those experienced in trauma-informed care or substance misuse treatment, will be given preference. Additionally, familiarity with therapeutic frameworks and methodologies that promote integrated mental health care is appreciated.

Compensation and Benefits\n
