Variety in Your Day

• Approximately 50% welding and 50% fabrication.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Perform MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
• Layout, fit, and assemble parts for fabrication projects.
• Grind, deburr, and finish components.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including laser cutting equipment.
• Use measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of professional welding experience .
• Experience with both MIG and TIG welding .
• Ability to read basic blueprints.
• Comfortable using a tape measure and working to precise specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding school graduate or technical training.
• Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Laser cutting or fabrication equipment experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schiller Park, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
