Work Environment

Our outpatient office in Chantilly, Virginia, offers a dynamic and engaging work environment. With a focus on delivering personalized care, you will collaborate closely with a team of three other licensed Physical Therapists and assistive staff members. Each day, you can expect to engage with a diverse group of patients, conducting one-on-one sessions to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs and goals. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment, including treadmills, stationary bikes, and a variety of therapeutic modalities like electrical stimulation and hot packs to enhance patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and reassessments to identify patient needs and establish personalized treatment objectives.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans incorporating a variety of treatment techniques, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
• Provide individualized physical therapy sessions, focusing on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining accurate records using electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, heat application, and cold therapy to alleviate pain and accelerate recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process while educating them on injury prevention and home exercise programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following all safety and sanitation protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with athletes and active individuals, addressing a range of orthopedic issues including knee pain, lower back pain, shoulder injuries, and more. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these patients regain their athletic functionality and return to their pre-injury activities, enhancing their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia State Physical Therapist license.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
• Excellent clinical skills with a strong emphasis on assessment and intervention strategies.
• Proficiency in using EMR software for patient documentation and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with creating tailored exercise programs and manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues alike.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize patient care effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
