Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapies.

  Engage in individual and group therapy sessions, using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to treat issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma.

  Provide crisis intervention and perform risk assessments when clients present acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  Maintain ongoing communication with fellow healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create an integrated approach to patient care.

  Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to best meet the evolving needs of each patient.

  Educate clients and their families on coping strategies, resources, and mental health information to empower them outside of therapy sessions.

  Uphold confidentiality and comply with ethical guidelines as well as Maryland state regulations in all documentation and communication.

  Participate in regular case consultations and supervision, contributing your insights while also gaining and sharing knowledge with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adult clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma-related conditions. You will address both short-term crises and long-term therapeutic needs, fostering relationships that support client engagement and progress toward recovery.

  A valid and active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Maryland is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
