Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs through initial evaluations, listening actively to their concerns and helping them articulate their goals.

• Facilitate educational sessions for both staff and clients regarding trauma coping mechanisms and stress management techniques.

• Source and provide resources and referrals to help clients reach their personal and therapeutic goals, fostering a robust support network.

• Maintain a commitment to professional development by completing continuing education courses in line with your National Certified Counselor certification.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community outreach programs to coordinate comprehensive care for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus primarily on trauma injury patients, who may struggle with a range of mental health issues stemming from their experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
