Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to develop a solid understanding of their needs.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions, both in person and virtually, addressing the unique psychological and emotional challenges faced by clients.

• Timely completion of billing, documentation, personalized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in adherence to our operational protocols.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans tailored to each patient's situation to promote stable functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to create effective discharge plans that outline actionable steps for continued recovery.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as NEHS policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to maintain and enhance licensure.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and meetings to foster a culture of learning and collective problem-solving within the team.

• Complete all necessary licensure requirements and mandatory training in a timely and thorough manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patient population at Inner Serenity is diverse, encompassing individuals and families from various backgrounds struggling with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that results in licensure is required.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing telehealth services and familiarity with digital health platforms is highly desirable.

• Background in working with diverse populations, particularly in remote settings, will be an advantage.

• Prior exposure to evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary package in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your licensure and experience. Our benefits include generous paid time off, health and dental insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and life insurance options.
