Work Environment

The position is based in our outpatient office located in the vibrant community of Jersey City. The interdisciplinary team consists of dedicated healthcare professionals working collaboratively to deliver outstanding patient care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, primarily between the hours of 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation strategies to enhance patients' mobility, function, and pain management.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to professional standards.
• Supervise and coordinate therapy sessions, either providing direct care or overseeing aides and assistants to deliver quality treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on effective rehabilitation practices, including proper use of prosthetic devices and at-home exercise regimens.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to integrate physical therapy into comprehensive patient care plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to clinical discussions aimed at improving patient care and operational efficiency.

The primary patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is necessary; candidates must obtain this certification within 30 days of hire.
