Work Environment

This position allows you the flexibility to work remotely from your home, but you will be an integral part of our outpatient office team based in Oxnard, California. Our therapists collaborate regularly via secure digital platforms to ensure continuity of care and support within our therapeutic community. You will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources to improve your practice and enhance client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, ensuring confidentiality through secure platforms.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique emotional and behavioral concerns while incorporating evidence-based methodologies.
• Continuously evaluate client progress through regular check-ins and adjust therapeutic techniques as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Guide clients using coping strategies tailored to their specific situations to promote mental well-being and resilience in everyday life.
• Document each session thoroughly, including treatment outcomes and client feedback, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share insights and enhance therapeutic approaches, leading to improved client experiences and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidate will work with a varied clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. You will engage with couples seeking to strengthen their bonds and families navigating complex dynamics. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Active LMFT license in California is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in therapy, particularly in outpatient settings and treatment planning.
• Proven ability to create a trusting and empathetic therapeutic environment that fosters openness and honesty.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Background in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, adolescent therapy, or substance abuse treatment will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
