Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while reducing travel stress associated with in-person interactions. You will conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any location that suits you, from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM. Our team communicates extensively using various online platforms and tools tailored for virtual therapy, ensuring seamless connections with clients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead virtual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to promote mental wellness and address a variety of emotional and psychological challenges.

• Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions.

• Collaborate closely with clients to define their personal goals, assess their progress, and adapt treatment plans as necessary to foster growth and development.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies, utilizing assessments and therapeutic methodologies specific to each client's needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and client progress in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. Our clients come from various backgrounds and demographics, providing you with the opportunity to apply culturally competent approaches tailored to each individual's unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license to practice independently in the state of Virginia (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy and developing effective treatment planning, ideally with a minimum of 2 years in a mental health setting.

• Strong communication skills and an ability to build trust and rapport with clients in a virtual setting.

• Familiarity with online therapy platforms and digital tools that enhance client engagement and treatment efficacy.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have experience in teletherapy and a record of success in adapting therapeutic approaches to fit the online environment. Comfort with using technological tools for assessments and treatment planning will be crucial, as will an understanding of current trends in mental health care.
