Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients using appropriate diagnostic tools, focusing on their unique sports injuries and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with patients, incorporating evidence-based techniques and modalities.
• Utilize an array of treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to enhance rehabilitation progress.
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the recovery process, empowering them with the knowledge to maintain their health post-treatment.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary patient care team meetings, contributing insights to facilitate comprehensive care coordination.
• Manage patient caseload effectively while demonstrating excellent customer service and maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.
• Participate in departmental professional development initiatives, including staff management and cost management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with sports-related injuries—ranging from acute traumas to chronic conditions. We cater to a diverse demographic, including young athletes, weekend warriors, and older adults seeking functional improvement and performance enhancement. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapy license to practice in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification required at time of hire.
• Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Professional demeanor with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate tact and professionalism in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient physical therapy, preferably in the field of sports medicine.
• Experience working in an interdisciplinary team setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and patient satisfaction surveys.

Compensation and Benefits
