Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that the therapeutic approach aligns with each individual’s unique cultural background.

• Provide individual and family therapy, developing and delivering treatment strategies based on the identified needs and preferences of clients.
\n
• Complete all necessary documentation including billing, treatment plans, insurance authorization forms, and progress notes within specified time frames.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis intervention plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness strategies to support patients in achieving stable functioning.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans tailored to meet the ongoing needs of patients transitioning out of therapy.
\n
• Ensure adherence to all current federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in professional development through training and continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance therapeutic skills.
\n
• Participate actively in agency meetings and peer consultations to contribute to team problem-solving and quality improvement initiatives.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure requirements and mandatory training, ensuring compliance and best practices in therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with diverse clients facing a range of mental health challenges. Our focus extends to underserved populations within the Arlington community, aiming to create equitable access to mental health resources. This role allows you to effect meaningful change in the lives of individuals and families who may otherwise struggle to find adequate support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist in the state of Texas (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing culturally competent care to diverse populations.
\n
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant approaches.

• Previous experience working in community mental health settings or telehealth is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
