This full-time position allows for remote work, primarily supporting our outpatient office in Stockton, California. As an LMFT, you will play a crucial role in the mental health treatment of individuals, especially children and teenagers, through various therapeutic modalities including family therapy, group sessions, and one-on-one psychotherapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs and ensure appropriate treatment planning.

• Engage with patients through individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to the unique needs of teenagers and children.

• Participate in case conferences to develop and refine treatment plans based on collaborative discussions with fellow clinicians.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, educating clients and families about mental health topics to promote better understanding and support.

• Coordinate care with reentry social workers for comprehensive discharge planning and successful transition back into the community.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies and follow-up care to ensure ongoing support for patients in distress.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, to comply with regulatory requirements.

• Supervise and mentor social work interns or student volunteers as appropriate, fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision sessions with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance your skills and contribute to your career development.

• Participate in departmental meetings and mental health rounds to discuss insights and improve treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n
