Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education, training, and experience to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop independent diagnoses for patients, ensuring an accurate understanding of their mental health needs.

• Collaborate closely with patients to craft individualized treatment plans that reflect their personal goals and tailored strategies for overcoming challenges.

• Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions such as motivational interviewing, solution-focused treatment, and behavioral activation, adjusting techniques as required to meet each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Actively coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and primary care providers, to foster a holistic treatment approach that supports patients' overall health.

• Regularly monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary through systematic tracking of patient progress, whether in-person or via virtual follow-ups.

• Assist in managing psychotropic medications prescribed by medical providers, ensuring adherence by monitoring side effects and treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on a diverse clientele at our Detox Center, where you will work with individuals navigating various mental health challenges. You will play an essential role in helping clients to overcome substance use disorders and achieving lasting recovery through compassionate support and targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of one year of experience providing therapy as an independently licensed clinician.

Preferred Experience\n

We highly value professionals with experience in addiction and recovery settings, as well as those who have a background in trauma-informed care or behavioral therapies. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and how to utilize them effectively in treatment delivery is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
