This role is flexible and primarily remote, allowing for a work-life balance while engaging with patients primarily through virtual counseling sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings utilizing both standardized tools and clinical judgment to identify the mental health needs of patients. Develop tailored treatment plans that align with individuals’ unique situations and therapeutic goals.

• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to empower patients and help them cope with acute stressors.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops focused on personal development topics such as stress management, emotional regulation, and communication skills, fostering a support system among peers.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating psychological and medical treatment as necessary.

• Participate in outreach programs and preventive initiatives like community workshops and mental health awareness events, increasing knowledge of mental health resources available for the population.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethics, tracking patient progress and modifying treatment plans as required.

Qualifications\n

• Possess an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; however, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
