This remote position allows for flexibility while working in an outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for seniors to determine their specific therapeutic needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing tailored strategies to help clients navigate the emotional complexities of aging, including grief, loss, and cognitive decline.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Provide education to family members and caregivers about mental health issues faced by seniors and offer practical strategies for enhancing wellbeing.

• Implement innovative cognitive stimulation programs designed to boost cognitive functioning and promote engagement among elderly clients.

• Accommodate end-of-life concerns by offering sensitive grief and loss counseling, supporting both clients and their families during difficult transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is the senior population. You will work with individuals who may be coping with major life transitions, chronic illnesses, loss of loved ones, or the cognitive changes associated with aging. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 yearly, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus.
