Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify each client's mental health needs, formulating individualized treatment plans based on current best practices.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, and families, employing a variety of frameworks such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities.

• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic and seamless care experience for clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and emotional support during acute distress situations, using your advanced skills to stabilize and reassure clients in need.

• Engage in community outreach programs and local mental health education initiatives to increase awareness and promote mental wellness within the Brookhaven area.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, each presenting their unique mental health needs. As a licensed therapist, you will address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, utilizing culturally sensitive practices to ensure effective and compassionate care. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity when working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities, including timely documentation and managing a caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, preferably in community mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
