Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Delhi, OH. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new MSME lending opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promote YSS Direct Credit’s financial products and services. The role involves conducting market research, generating leads, preparing and delivering presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to structure suitable financial solutions. The person in this role will track sales performance, provide regular reporting, ensure adherence to responsible lending practices, and represent the company at events, meetings, and community engagements to strengthen brand presence. Qualifications Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and relationship building with MSME clients. Financial services knowledge, such as understanding lending products, credit assessment basics, and responsible lending practices. Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with skill in client presentations, proposal development, and stakeholder management. Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret market trends, assess client needs, and recommend tailored solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including credit, operations, and customer support. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage. Proven experience in business development or sales within financial services, MSME lending, or related sectors. Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office applications, and basic data analysis for reporting and planning.
