Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions that allow clients to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other while fostering a sense of community.

• Individual Counseling: Provide personalized counseling sessions that encourage clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them develop effective coping strategies and action plans tailored to their individual needs.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive treatment plans that are goal-oriented and focus on their unique challenges and aspirations, ensuring a patient-centered approach.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to track and evaluate client progress and outcomes, making adjustments to their treatment plans as necessary to optimize their mental health journey.

• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals and other therapists, to ensure integrated and coordinated care for clients, regularly consulting on complex cases to achieve the best outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Our clients often face a range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and transitional life challenges. As a counselor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that these young adults receive tailored support that empowers them to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensure.

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients experiencing mood and mental health disorders.
