About This Opportunity
A well-established, upscale casual dining concept known for its woodfire cooking and commitment to quality is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead their kitchen. This is a high-visibility role with a team that takes food and hospitality seriously.
Key Responsibilities
- Culinary Leadership
- Oversee all BOH operations and maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a strong kitchen team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, professionalism, and culinary excellence.
- Operations
- Manage food and labor costs, inventory, and ordering to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Collaborate with management on menu development, specials, and operational strategy.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service or upscale casual environment.
- Strong background in woodfire or scratch cooking preferred.
- Hands-on leader comfortable working alongside their team on the line.
- Solid understanding of P&L, food cost management, and BOH operations.
- Ability to recruit, train, and retain top culinary talent.
