Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Essential Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Special Education License, or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued.
• Strong grasp of IEP development, implementation, and compliance procedures.
• Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary educational teams.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and tailored academic support to students requiring mild to moderate special education services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Track student progress using best practices and maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
• Partner closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
• Engage actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to develop holistic education plans.
• Provide resource and/or inclusion support, adapting to the needs of each learner and classroom environment.

Full-time hours during school days mean you’ll have consistent interaction with students and staff, and the position primarily requires onsite presence, though hybrid arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
