Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated professional supporting elementary students with mild to moderate special needs in a dynamic educational environment. A part-time contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year. The position will begin August 12, 2026, and continue through the end of the academic year, with a flexible part-time schedule to be determined.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Colorado Special Education teaching license, or be eligible for licensure through reciprocity
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings preferred
• Proficient understanding of IDEA and special education compliance requirements
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities to work effectively with families, colleagues, and related service providers
• Excellent communication skills and organizational attention to detail

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support services for students with IEPs, focusing on mild to moderate needs
• Implement, monitor, and document progress toward IEP goals in both resource and/or inclusion settings as needed
• Maintain thorough and accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate seamlessly with district staff, classroom teachers, parents, and outside service providers to ensure holistic student support
• Participate in evaluations, team meetings, and professional development as required

This role is primarily based onsite; however, candidates interested in a hybrid work arrangement may also be considered based on district needs.
