Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, identifying their severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective treatment aimed at alleviating symptoms of mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, empowering them with knowledge of treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to encourage resilience and recovery.

• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, actively engaging in thoughtful dialogue about their experiences and responses to therapy.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care that addresses both therapeutic and medical needs.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients who are experiencing mood disorders, particularly depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. By providing personalized therapy, you will help clients develop new coping mechanisms and strategies that lead to improved mental health outcomes. Your role is critical in guiding these individuals through their unique challenges and supporting their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically CBT and DBT, is essential for effective practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a competitive sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team!
