Job Opportunity Cook Supervisor Job Type Per Diem Responsibilities Lead and supervise dietary personnel, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to oversee work assignments, contribute to performance evaluations, and assume responsibility for the department in the absence of the manager. Prepare and serve meals in accordance with residents\' dietary needs; participate in production planning, purchasing, and equipment management. Assist in production planning, including forecasting needs and recipe development. Procurement and proper storage of food and equipment. Ensure the dietary department delivers visually appealing, high-quality meals within budget constraints. Operate kitchen equipment and adaptive tools for residents\' specialized needs. Respond promptly to residents\' requests and needs, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness. Collaborate with the Dietary Manager in planning and executing facility-wide special events.
