Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests—covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following established guidelines.
• Examine results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis whenever necessary.
• Record procedures in detail, assist in training new employees or students, and help maintain the quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment tenure.
