Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments through initial consultations to understand clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, families, couples, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions focusing on evidence-based interventions.

• Monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to create cohesive intervention plans.

• Provide ongoing support and follow-up for clients who may require hospitalization or additional care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience with AVATAR or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in a telehealth setting.

• Experience in dealing with co-occurring disorders, including addiction issues alongside mental health challenges.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the side effects of various medications prescribed by healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
