Senior Director, Medical Communications

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Director of Medical Communications to serve as strategic communications leader and trusted advisor to the SVP of Global Medical Affairs. The role involves designing integrated internal and external communications strategies, providing executive counsel, and elevating Global Medical's profile across the organization and external scientific communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated communications plans advancing Global Medical's mission and strategic priorities
- Provide executive communications counsel and support to SVP of Global Medical and leadership team
- Identify and activate opportunities for executive visibility through speaking engagements and thought leadership
- Drive strategic narratives demonstrating Medical's impact, capabilities, and contributions to patient outcomes
- Manage content creation across digital platforms and coordinate external thought leadership initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
- Minimum 12 years of relevant communications experience
- Demonstrated track record in executive communications and internal/external strategy
- Experience managing multi-channel communications campaigns and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency producing content across multiple formats and digital platforms
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
