This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing vital outpatient services. You will play a central role in promoting mental health and wellness among individuals, couples, and families in Joliet, Illinois, and surrounding areas, earning a competitive salary in the range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various challenges.

• Assessing patients' needs and developing tailored treatment plans incorporating therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Facilitating sessions that focus on family dynamics, addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, communication difficulties, grief and loss, separation, and divorce.

• Employing effective conflict resolution strategies among family members and providing support during life transitions.
\n
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and patient progress while complying with all relevant laws and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. You will address critical issues such as blended families, adjustment to separation, mother/daughter conflicts, and difficulties stemming from job stress or medical issues. Your work will directly contribute to constructive outcomes, fostering improved communication and emotional well-being among family members.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n
