IT Support Technician (MSP)

Salary: $40,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional experience with Windows operating systems
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, firewalls, routers, and switches
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Clear, friendly communication skills with non-technical users
• Ability to research and solve unfamiliar problems
• Valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle; mileage is reimbursed
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, 2 weeks out of every 6
• Preferred: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification, or a technical degree; equivalent experience is welcome
• Preferred: Microsoft 365 administration experience
• Preferred: MSP or field service experience
• Preferred: Familiarity with RMM/PSA tools, VMware or Hyper-V, or VoIP

• Troubleshoot and resolve clients hardware, software, and network issues remotely and on-site
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, switches, routers, and rack-mounted equipment
• Record and update service requests in our ticketing system with clear, professional notes
• Document solutions and contribute to our internal knowledge base
• Train end users on devices and software
• Assist our Systems Engineer with servers, firewalls, DNS, VPN, email, and network monitoring
• Install and maintain common business applications, including Microsoft 365
• Recommend solutions suited to clients needs and follow up to confirm they are effective

We are MyTechPro, a growing managed service provider supporting approximately 65 small and midsized businesses across the United States. Our technicians work directly with clients and are supported by a Systems Engineer and a collaborative team that shares knowledge. This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Las Vegas office and client sites, typically split between 90% office work and 10% client-site work. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional adjustments to meet client needs. Work may be indoors or outdoors and involves lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, reaching, and sitting for extended periods; reasonable accommodations are available. The on-call rotation is 2 weeks out of every 6. Annual pay is $40,000–$55,000.
