Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. While you will primarily work from home, you will also have the opportunity to connect with colleagues within our outpatient office setting during team meetings, training, and collaborative projects. Our workdays generally run Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours as necessary to accommodate client needs and practice requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to meet the diverse needs of your clients.

• Engage in comprehensive consultations, contributing to the creation of crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment strategies.

• Timely completion of all necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Implement evidence-based screening tools, integrating findings into care strategies in collaboration with the clinical team.
\n
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams and programs to design and execute effective positive behavior support plans.
\n
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, supporting our commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
\n
• Serve as a liaison to local service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance the support network for our clients.
\n
• Facilitate open communication with stakeholders, striving to meet contract standards while promoting the mission and values of our organization.

• Establish strategic relationships with various partner organizations to enhance program visibility and explore funding opportunities.
\n
• Engage in professional development activities, including attending relevant conferences, and participating in local and statewide meetings to further your expertise.

• Consistently promote and embody the organizational mission, values, and principles in all interactions and responsibilities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to further support the organization's mission.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with geriatric clients, those who face unique challenges due to aging, including emotional distress, life changes, and mental health disorders related to grief and loss. You will utilize your specialized training to provide tailored support and therapeutic interventions, fostering their resilience and promoting mental well-being throughout their golden years.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is necessary.

• A minimum of four years of recent experience in geriatric mental health counseling, demonstrating a commitment to supporting older adults in navigating their mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $70,000 and $95,000 annually, with the potential for salary adjustments as you grow within the role and contribute to the organization. Our benefits package includes:
