Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Accounting Specialist position in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Review, verify, and enter invoices, payments, and financial data into accounting systems.

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger entries.

• Assist with billing, payment processing, and collections as needed.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

• Assist with month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and account discrepancies.

• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.

• Support payroll processing and other administrative accounting functions as needed.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and company information.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and accounting processes run smoothly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Competitive hourly wage of $20.00–$25.00 DOE .

• Consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.
