As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and reporting security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen individuals and authorized items entering the location using established procedures, escalating prohibited, suspicious, or unauthorized items and activity to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel. Verify access credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with technology campus policies and post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
