Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide empathetic and professional counseling to clients through video conferencing, facilitating both group and individual therapy sessions.

• Assess the mental health needs of clients during initial evaluations, creating tailored treatment plans that address their unique circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on young people aged between 12 and 25 who are navigating various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. We believe in the potential of our clients and strive to build strong, therapeutic relationships, which are facilitated by maintaining a manageable case load of no more than 8 patients in group settings. This approach allows for in-depth engagement and fosters sustainable healing processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Licensure is essential – we encourage applications from those with independent licenses (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) as well as junior-licensed clinicians, whom we are prepared to supervise.

• Availability to commit between 12-40 hours per week, depending upon whether you choose the W2 or 1099 employment structure.

• A demonstrated passion for working with adolescents and young adults in a mental health context.

• Previous telehealth experience is preferred but not required; commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies is essential.

• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the specific challenges faced by adolescents and young adults is a plus.
