Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and formulate appropriate healing strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing journeys.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that create a safe space for patients to share their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies and collaborate with emergency services as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma response and coping strategies, empowering them to manage their mental health proactively.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and the latest trauma therapy research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves individuals who have experienced trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
