What You'll Do:

• Provide expert respiratory and neuro diagnostic care to critically ill children in PICU and NICU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered treatment.
• Float across NICU, PICU, and Peds units, adapting to various clinical environments as needed.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism in all patient interactions.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU or Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years.
• L&D experience preferred, with the ability to work primarily in L&D as needed.
• Valid Indiana State Licensure; accepted licenses include temp licenses with application in process.
• Certified as an RRT through NBRC; current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience in NICU or PICU environments with a focus on pediatric respiratory care.
• Ability to work every other weekend, including 12-hour night shifts from 19:00-07:00.

Nice to Have Skills:

• PALS certification.
• Experience working in a level 1 adult facility.
• Additional neuro diagnostic training or certifications.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited CoARC and CHEA-recognized program.
• Prior experience in Children's hospitals, ideally within the last three years.

Other Requirements:

• Written confirmation of comfort with and understanding of the every-other-weekend schedule.
• Flexibility to float between NICU, PICU, and Peds units, including possible assignments at IU Health North Hospital (exemptions apply after 11/30/2024).
• Ability to travel within Indiana and comply with licensure and certification reimbursements.
