Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the emotional and psychological needs of patients, taking into account their medical conditions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement customized treatment plans that address both mental and physical health needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

• Provide crisis intervention during times of acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support for clients.

• Educate patients about the relationship between mental and physical health, empowering them with coping strategies to manage their conditions.

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning to enhance treatment outcomes and foster collaborative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice specializes in working with patients who present with co-occurring mental health issues alongside medical conditions such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
