Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and craft appropriate, individualized treatment plans.

• Implement therapeutic modalities focusing on recovery, resilience, and coping strategies, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to create a space for processing trauma and promoting healing.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to address immediate needs associated with trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, ensuring they are aware of available resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with telehealth regulations.

• Participate in professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care, and stay current with evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals who have experienced trauma, with an emphasis on those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. You'll engage with a diverse client base, providing care tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances and needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically focusing on trauma-related disorders.

• Confidence and experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
