Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews to assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, systematically documenting progress from initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and recovery interventions tailored to the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic methods to promote healing and personal growth.

• Monitor client progress continuously throughout each treatment phase, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers to create comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provide follow-up care for clients transitioning from in-patient to out-patient services, working closely with psychiatrists and other medical providers.

• Assist family members and caregivers in managing the complexities of mental health conditions, providing guidance and support tailored to their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a varied client population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, ensuring they receive the personalized support necessary for recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstration of professional competence through a passed score on the NCE or NCMHCE examinations.

• Solid foundation of previous experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing your capacity to effectively manage clinical responsibilities.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document and track client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
